Demise of my Caprice Classic
My Caprice Classic died on june 4, 2011. What a tragedy ?
As usual I was ready to goto office by 6:30 AM. I was in the car at 6:35 AM and started my car, left it for warming up for few minutes. I started driving, after few yards, I saw few of collegues waving to me. I wondered about it and stopped the car. Before I could talk to them, I also saw smoke coming out of my bonnet. I reversed and parked the car, stopped the engine and opened the bonnet. There was fire on the engine. Many friends and bystanders came running helped them selves with water, fire exinguisher etc. to put of the fire. All in vain. Hussein called Traffic ploice and Civil defense. Civil Defense took almost an hour to reach. They put off the fire. But the engine was all gone engulfed in fire. Civil defense and Traffic took note of this fire incident. We have to visit Civil Defense and Police to get the Report. Submitted those reports to Insurence. They compensated for the car. It was total loss.

It was indeed a sad day. I really miss my car. I am looking for another car now.
That is life.
